Recommended Grass and Clover Lists for England and Wales

The England and Wales Recommended Grass and Clover Lists (RGCL) are drawn up after rigorous testing for attributes such as yield, persistency, quality and disease resistance. The data comes from trials carried out by the NIAB-TAG, IBERS, DLF Trifolium, DSV/Eurograss, AFBI and SRUC.

There are three key steps to using this list:

  1. What is the purpose of the new ley? Select either the grazing or silage tab at the top of the table
  2. What characteristics are you looking for? Use the filters and sort functions to narrow the range of varieties
  3. Compare and print the varieties you have selected using the 'Compare' function
