Jane King and Amanda Ball to speak at the Women in Dairy Conference

Jane King And Amanda BallJane King, AHDB’s Chief Executive and Amanda Ball, Dairy Strategy Director will be speaking at this year’s Women in Dairy Conference which focuses on the theme of 'Resilience in Adversity'. This follows the inaugural event in 2015 and is being held at Sixways Stadium, Worcester on Wednesday 28th September.

Jane King will speak about the position of the UK dairy industry and the role of women in it. Jane is a former Editor and Editorial Director of the Farmers Weekly Group and joined AHDB in February 2015 as CEO and has been involved in conducting a review of the organisation with a view to driving growth, improved competitiveness and sustainability for the industry. 

Amanda Ball will talk about ‘Bringing the dairy strategy to life’. Amanda was appointed as Strategy Director for AHDB Dairy in October 2015.  Her previous role was Head of Marketing and Communications for AHDB Dairy, she first joined the organisation in 2006. Amanda is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and holds Chartered status. 

Women in Dairy is an initiative from RABDF and Promar International (A Genus Company) and is supported by AHDB Dairy, designed to bring women working in our industry together through regional meetings for training, networking and to promote dairy farming.
