The “Forage Field – Milking Grass for Profit” Spring Farm Walks have become a mainstay of the annual calendar for grassland farmers the length and breadth of the UK. This year the RABDF, DairyCo and BGS partnership are traveling to Flintshire on 23 and Gloucestershire on 28 April, to visit two farms showcasing a number of good practice elements and providing a platform for informative, progressive discussion around grazing management topics linked strongly to performance and profitability in dairy businesses.

28 April, kindly hosted by Keith Davis, Mile Bridge Dairy, Lydney Estate, Aylburton.

Technical topics will include:

  • Business Evolution
  • Obsessive Grassland Management
  • Breeding the right animal for the right system
  • Managing financial risk.
