Wensleydale Creamery has invested £350,000 in new equipment to expand into the growing £90 million blended cheese market. The move is in response to growing consumer demand for convenience products, driven by trends towards smaller households and an increase in high street convenience stores. Three varieties of snack-sized taster packs have been launched, including the most popular flavour, Wensleydale & Cranberries.
