The jointly funded Scottish Dairy Hub, the industry initiative between DairyCo and the Scottish Government, will be officially launched by the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment at this year’s Agriscot event at the Royal Highland Centre, on Wednesday19 November.

A DairyCo spokesperson said: “We are pleased all the discussions and this key recommendation of the Dairy Review ‘Ambition 2025’ have come to fruition. The Scottish Dairy Hub is an independent initiative and will offer Scottish dairy farmers a single point of contact for any dairy-related enquiries.”

Stuart Martin, Dairy Hub Manager, will be on the shared Dairy Hub/DairyCo stand, number 103, all day to launch the Hub and answer any questions. The website will also be launched.

Stuart commented: “I would encourage all dairy farmers and industry service providers to come and speak to us to find out more about the Hub. Our aim is to be the one-stop shop for dairy advice and support, so we are keen to help with any questions you may have.”

Stuart will also be taking part in the Dairy Seminar which will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 featuring James Withers, CEO Scotland Food and Drink, Paul Grant, Chairman of the Dairy Growth Board and Gary Mitchell, NFUS Milk Committee Chairman.
