Farmers and their staff can now book a place on the ‘Negotiating and influencing skills’ workshops taking place in the New Year, on 7 January in Crewe, Cheshire – and 8 January in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.

These workshops aim to build and develop existing skills to achieve positive outcomes when influencing and negotiating agreements with team members, suppliers or customers. They will enable participants to confidently prepare and manage discussions which lead to win-win outcomes.

The workshops are delivered in an interactive style, providing the participants’ opportunity to discuss their experiences of negotiating agreements, raise concerns or share ideas, and practice the key skills involved.

The workshops are suitable for anyone responsible for making and reaching agreements. Cost is £30 + VAT for those working in primary production in Agriculture and Horticulture in England. To book your place contact Jackie Darlow on 024 7647 8966 or email

Workshops are delivered with financial assistance from the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and DEFRA.
